JUDAISM AND ZIONISM Part 2 of 5

Friday, September 3rd, 2010

Rabbi Goldstein gives a historic overview of zionism and the creation of the zionist state, explaining its incompatibility with judaism.
Neturei Karta (Jews against zionism)
23 December 2001

Rabbi Goldstein explained to his Muslim audience that whilst for Mr. Arafat and the Palestinian Authority its a political struggle and they may compromise with the zionist state and settle for 50%, 25% or whatever they can get, he cannot do that. Ideologically religious Jews cannot recognise any part of the zionist state.

“…The Muslims people basically got involved in the fight against zionism when it started effecting them on a political basis which is 1917 for the Palestinians or afterwards for some of the other Arab countries, We [religious jews] were in this fight from the 1890’s roughly… As soon as it was founded [zionism], it was condemned – Jews came out and said this is atheistic, this is idol worship…”

A Jew explains why Allah is the one and only God

Wednesday, August 18th, 2010

A must see! The legendary video in which a Jew rebuffs the claim of evangelicals, newly edited and now in annotations!

Even Jesus said Allah. According to an Aramaic dictionary, ( http://www.peshitta.org/lexicon/ ) the word for God in Aramaic (The language which Jesus spoke) is “Aalah”, which is the exact same thing as the Arabic “Allah” since in English there are many ways to spell a foreign word (Example you can spell the Muhammad’s name in 27 ways, including Muhammad and Mohamed). Just visit the link and type “God” if you don’t believe me, then scroll down to “Pronunciation”

So Christians, if your god Jesus said “Allah”, it means the Muslims are using the correct word for the creator!

The word Allah is better than the word God and is purer since God can be pluralised (gods) and genderised (goddess), the word Allah is more suitable for being HIS name because it CANNOT be genderised nor pluralised (in Arabic) since it is genderless and single, an example in English would be the planet Mars, it is genderless (you cannot say Marsa or whatever it would be if it could be genderised) and it is unpluralisable (you cannot say Marses), it simply wouldn’t make sense to genderise or pluralise this planet, the same goes for Allah (الله) in Arabic, so in essence IT IS SUPERIOR to the word God.

Lets not forget that Arab Christians, and jews (as is the case in this video) say Allah, and have been saying it before there were even any western Christians!

Jesus said Allah too, so if you consider yourself a serious Christian you should start saying it to follow your god Jesus. So please, open your brains a little, it’s good for you.

Now to see what different prophets called God.

Abraham PBUH called him El shaddai

Moses PBUH called him Elohim (see Genesis)

Jesus PBUH called him Allah

Muhammad PBUH called him Allah

Two prophets called him Allah, and they are the most known of prophets, Muhammad and Jesus peace be upon them. Nonetheless all of these are Semitic words, so as far as I am concerned, any Semitic word for God is acceptable, but why use a European word for Allah when not a single prophet used a European word?

Also, did you notice something? All of these words for Allah begin with either EL or AL, this is because in proto-Semitic (an ancient language which all Semitic languages, such as Arabic and Hebrew, evolved from) the word for God was AL or EL, Abraham PBUH spoke proto-Semitic and he called God “El shaddai”, “El” here meaning God and “shaddai” meaning mountain, so basically he called God “God of the mountain”.

The Semetic languages evolved in a way that they retain the word AL/EL at the beginning of the word, but there is an additional “lah” in Arabic and an additional “lohim” in Hebrew, I hope this clarifies.

Apocrypha & Pseudepigrapha: Apocryphal & Pseudepigraphal Books In Christian Scripture

Tuesday, July 20th, 2010

The next video to a series about the Jewish Apocrypha and Pseudepigrapha books. This video offers a brief explanation of the Apocryphal & Pseudepigraphal Books In Christian Scripture.

During the birth of Christianity, some of the Jewish apocrypha that dealt with the coming of the Messianic kingdom became popular in the rising jewish-Christian communities. Occasionally these writings were changed or added to, but on the whole it was found sufficient to reinterpret them as conforming to a Christian viewpoint. Christianity eventually gave birth to new apocalyptic works, some of which were derived from traditional Jewish sources. Some of the jewish apocrypha were part of the ordinary religious literature of the early Christians.

Kosher struggle: Israeli women vs sexist Judaism

Monday, July 12th, 2010

For generations jews have come to touch the stones of the holiest jewish site, the Western Wall. But over the years the area has become increasingly dangerous for women. They can only pray in an area one fifth the size of the men’s and in recent months have been attacked with chairs, rocks and vegetables, called derogatory names and even dragged along the ground.

Jewish Prayer – الصلاة اليهودية – כריעות בשמונה עשרה

Thursday, June 24th, 2010

According to Talmudic law and the shita of Rambam (Maimonides) and his son R’ Abraham.

NOTE: Not EVERYTHING done in the clip is obligatory. I made this clear in the annotations. If someone is confused or mislead because he did not read, that is not my fault. READ.

TRANSLATION OF HEBREW

INFORMATION ON BOWING
http://sagavyah.tripod.com/id82.html#kneeling
—————
In our days there are not many Jews who still kneel and bow during regular daily prayer. A noticable number of Orthodox Ashkenazi Jews do bow to the ground during Yom haKipurim and Rosh haShana. Most jews are not even aware that such is the historical practice of the jewish people to kneel and prostrate during regular daily prayer. Therefore, be prepared that if you kneel or prostrate in most synagogues, you are sure to get reactions of surprise. They may or may not be encouraging reactions. Nonetheless, so long as you are still able to concentrate properly while praying and are willing to endure the possible consequences of bowing and prostrating in public, I only encourage you to do so. It is a shame to fear men more than the Most High. How can bowing or prostrating be a sign of arrogance, especially when you know people may look upon you negatively for doing so? Rather, it is an expression of humility and submission to the Almighty. The following text of formal Jewish prayer and instruction on how it is done is according to Talmudic law as codified in the Mishneh Torah of Rambam (Maimonides). References to halakha are given in abbreviated form. For example, HT5:4 means “Hilkhoth Tefilah” chapter 5, the fourth halakha. Hilkhoth Tefilah is found in Sefer Ahavah in the Mishneh Torah:

“The mention of bending-down {k’reya} in every place is on the knees..” (HT5:13)

There are 5 places where one “bends-down” during this prayer (HT5:10). Each time one “bends-down,” he should arch his back bending over until his backbone pokes out slightly (HT5:12). One need not bow in this manner if he is unable because it causes him pain (HT5:12). There are some additional reasons why a person may not need to fully bow, usually either because of stress of the situation or stress of the body (HT5:1). I will elaborate upon these later. The 5 places where one “bends-down” are highlighted in the text of prayer found in the link below. In the text of prayer found on that link, upon reading a word highlighted in bold letters, “bend-down” and make your body like an arch (qeshet). Afterwards, straighten back up into a standing position upon reading a word that is underlined.

The content of this prayer were established by the Court established under Moses, at the time at which it was headed by Ezra, Nehemiah, Daniel, Zechariah, etc… with the exception of a few small portions that were added by a later generation of that same Great Court. This prayer is called the Amidah (standing) because the majority of it is prayed in standing position (HT5:2); It’s also called the Shemoneh Esreh (eight-teen) because, though now it consists of 19 blessings, it originally consisted of 18 blessings to the Almighty

When beginning any of the 3 daily prayers, start from a standing position facing toward the Temple in Israel, with feet side by side, eyes lowered, and ones right hand clasped over his left hand over his heart, with his heart turned to “Above” in fear, awe, and dread, as a servant before his master, (HT5:4).
